Our founder Jason is a passionate advocate for community engagement and health equity. With a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and over ten years of experience in philanthropy and public health, Jason has dedicated his career to making a positive impact in the lives of others.
Throughout his journey, Jason has honed his skills in project and grant management, fundraising, and building strategic partnerships. His recent role as Director of Development allowed him to lead program development efforts aimed at promoting health equity, particularly for marginalized communities, including MSM, transgender individuals, and people of color.
Jason believes in the importance of giving back to the community. When he’s not working, you can find him volunteering on various boards, assisting with fundraising efforts, and helping local organizations enhance their community engagement initiatives.
In recognition of his tireless dedication, Jason was honored with the Community Champion Award in December 2025, celebrating his outstanding advocacy and commitment to making a difference.
Outside of his professional life, Jason cherishes quality time with his husband and family. He enjoys attending concerts, painting, writing poetry, and unwinding with classic ’90s sitcoms, all of which bring him joy and inspiration.

Barry "BJ" Whetstone, MS, LCSW
Co-Founder & Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Our strong silent co-founder who handles IT and many of our business administrative duties. While BJ is a strong advocate for Whetrock Consulting, he spends most of his time working as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for the counseling division of Whetrock Enterprises.
With a decade of experience in mental health, Barry collaborates with clients in a safe and inclusive space to build a therapeutic relationship that is both professional and relatable. His work focuses on supporting individuals who face mental health challenges, particularly those who feel stigmatized or misunderstood. He helps to process traumatic experiences, manage anxiety and depression, navigate life transitions and stressors,
regulate mood, and address feelings of unexplained sadness.

that recognizes and respects each person’s unique journey, nurturing a sense of understanding and empowerment while helping to build resilience.

With degrees in Business Management, Marketing, and Communication, our Senior Project Manager, Carla, is the glue that holds us all together. Carla has over 20-years of experience in project managing and excels in operations management, content creation, and stakeholder communication. Known for her keen attention to detail, Carla consistently delivers outstanding results and she is committed to sharing her skills to help others in need create and build better businesses.
Project Planning doesn’t stop when the work day is over; during Carla’s
personal time she is the administrative assistant for her Family Reunion Committee, volunteers for a small non-profit, and enjoys planning events
such as parties and vacations for her family. She also enjoys crafting,
shopping, reading, music, and long walks on the beach.

With over 15 years of customer service experience, Carlett is dedicated to making every client’s experience smooth, welcoming, and seamless from the very first point of contact. She holds a deep passion for mental health advocacy and is a proud, dedicated ally to the LGBTQ+ community. Carlett genuinely loves supporting both our clients and our clinical team behind the scenes, ensuring that administrative tasks are handled with care, empathy, and efficiency so clients can focus entirely on their wellness journey.
